A FINE SPINACH GREEN JADE MUGHAL-STYLE 'CHRYSANTHEMUM' BOWL
QING DYNASTY, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
The interior carved with a central medallion representing the anthers, surrounded by two concentric rows of radiating petals, the third register of elongated lobed petals forming the vertical sides, each petal rising to a rounded tip, the reverse with fluted sides conforming to the interior, all raised on a foot carved as a broad chrysanthemum flower-head, the stone with dark green speckles inclusions and opaque swirls
