A YELLOW AND BROWN JADE PENDANT
WESTERN ZHOU DYNASTY (C. 1100-771 B.C.)

The elongated pendant carved as a pair of stylized human figures seated end to end, supporting a well defined head of a man with combed hair and fine features, on top of which is seated a smaller figure, all within a thin column, the stone of olive-yellow tone, with traces of cinnabar remaining in the grooves (two old breaks restuck)
