Adapted, the mounts largely 19th Century
The grey-veined white flared marble top above one long frieze drawer decorated with leaf-tips, over two long drawers decorated sans traverse and set with ribbon-tied escutcheons, flanked by fluted angles, on tapering fluted legs with brass caps, bearing the false stamp J.H.RIESENER JME, with remnants of a printed label MIDI...VITESSE/PARIS/(Par Monthauban), and a brass plaque to the back 422 and a typed label Collection of André Meyer, New York/1970 and another C6, with a blue chalk inscription 2784/10
