The serpentine top centred by a gilt-tooled burgundy leather writing-surface, within a scrolling foliate frame, flanked to each corner by a foliate cartouche, each side centred by a grotesque mask, the front fitted with a drawer, on four cabriole legs, each headed by a winged female caryatid, on acanthus and paw feet, the carcass stamped JEANDON four times
