A French gilt-bronze clock garniture
In the manner of François Linke, Paris, Circa 1890
Comprising a mantel clock and a pair of seven-light candelabra; the clock surmounted by Cupid riding a dolphin, holding an arrow and bow, above a circular dial with twelve white enamel numerals, the movement inscribed PONS BREVETÉ 244 10 6, flanked to each side by a triton, each holding a horn, above two hippocampi, centred by the seated figures of Neptune and Amphitrite holding hands, Neptune with his trident in his right hand, with sea shells to Amphitrite's feet, on a pierced scrolling base with algua and sea shells; the candelabra en suite
The clock: 28½ in. (72.5 cm.) high; 25½ in. (65 cm.) wide;
Each candelabra: 32¾ in. (83 cm.) high (3)
