A GEORGE II MAHOGANY SIDE CHAIR
Circa 1750, previously but not originally with arms, now lacking
The serpentine gadroon and floral-carved crest above a pierced rose-shaped interlaced splat, with later yellow silk drop-in seat over a gadroon-carved seatrail on foliate-carved cabriole legs ending in claw-and-ball feet, inscribed on inside of replaced rear rail VIIII
