In two sections, the upper section with molded cornice overhanging a pair of doors inset with later mirrored panels and enclosing two rows of movable shelves above four short drawers and four pigeonholes, above a pair of candleslides, the base with slant-front enclosing a small leather writing inset before a well and range of stepped drawers, pigeonholes and a lockable small door, over two short and two long drawers, on bracket feet, with overall featherbanding, inscribed in white chalk 2912, the brass pulls replaced, the feet probably reshaped, minor replacements to veneer and moldings particularly to the sides
