Of tapering coffer form, the rectangular lid decorated with an idyllic country estate within a canted reserve, flowerhead garlands around the molded edge, the hinged lid opening to two lidded caddies, the front and sides decorated with facing seated griffins with scrolling acanthus tails, the sides set with lacquered brass hoop pulls, on brass ball feet
