Circa 1805
The eared gilt-tooled burgundy leather-inset top, over three frieze drawers with acorn-cast keyhole covers and florette pulls, reversing to three false drawers, on tapering reeded legs and brass caps and casters, the casters stamped COPE & COLLINSON PATENT, bearing an old dealer's or depository label printed J.A.&N.P.S., Farnborough, inscribed Mr. Fielding #7
