The compressed, well-potted body molded in relief with three decorative motifs of a rider seated astride a mythical beast, set atop bands of circles, impressed diaper and grooves, all below a band of birds and a dogtooth border impressed on the high shoulder below the short neck and widely flared mouth rim, the whole raised on a spreading foot, covered inside and out with a glaze of deep, grayish olive color which also covers the interior of the concave foot (hairline rim cracks, some glaze flaking on rim)
