Well carved as Guanyin seated on a low base with her legs crossed and holding a child cradled in her arms at her right shoulder, dressed in voluminous robes, with long sleeves, falling in deep folds around the base, her full face with benign expression and downcast eyes, the child holding a book in its right hand, retaining traces of gilt lacquer (chips to extremeties)
