A MUGHAL STYLE GREENISH-WHITE JADE BOWL

The thin, translucent, flared sides carved in low relief with scrolling leafy tendrils of lotus bearing buds and blossoms, the everted rim with four lotus-branch handles, each with a leaf and pendent bud, suspending rings with stylized floral motifs, the base with a central whorl from which radiate overlapping lotus leaves, the tips of four forming the low tripod feet, the rest of the overlapping and folded leaves curving up the sides to form a wavy band, the interior with a central lotus medallion from which petals fan outward, the stone with high polish and slight opaque mottling
