A DARK GREEN JADE LOTUS-LEAF EWER AND COVER

The ewer well hollowed and well carved as a large lotus leaf raised on a pedestal foot of lotus leaf form, the leaf-wrapped oval body, slender spout and folded leaf handle all bound together at the base of the waisted neck by a ribbon tied in two bows set just above an abstract mask carved in high relief on either side, the conforming cover surmounted by two lotus pods nestling in a further leaf
