A FINE AND RARE SMALL PAINTED ENAMEL HEXAGONAL VASE
QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER MARK IN BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE SQUARE AND OF THE PERIOD
Of faceted pear shape, each of the six facets finely painted with different composite foliate meander bearing one large exotic blossom at the widest part of the body and many smaller blossoms and buds on leafy intertwining tendrils, all in famille rose colors reserved on a yellow ground bordered above and below by blue and white ruyi borders, with trefoil-decorated panels in shades of ruby pink and leaf green on the spreading pedestal foot, all within raised gilt-bronze borders and with a turquoise interior
