AN UNUSUAL PAINTED ENAMEL MOLDED FOOTED TRAY

Of European inspiration and of shaped oval form, the center painted in a famille rose palette with an allover pattern of composite foliate meander surrounding a central flowerhead within foliate scroll borders and repeated on the flat rim below a raised and molded border decorated with demi-lotus blossoms separated by gadrooning or petals variously painted in red, blue and green to create a striped effect, the underside painted in the center with a fruiting peach branch and flowering branches surrounded by detached flower sprigs on the underside of the rim, the whole raised on four copper supports (some restoration)
