TWO GLAZED SEATED FIGURES OF OFFICIALS
MING DYNASTY
Both seated on high rectangular stools with foot rests, wearing formal robes glazed in tones of green, yellow, cream, brown and black, both wearing domed hats with frontal decoration, and a neck ornament, one with a bi suspended from his waist with sashes, his hands clasped and raised in front of his body, probably once holding a gui tablet, the other with right hand raised palm up and left hand on his thigh, the bearded, unglazed faces painted with pigments (some restoration and chips)
