Of slender baluster form with an ear-form handle opposite a squared 'S'-shaped spout, decorated on both sides with a large quatrefoil panel, one enclosing a bird perched on a prunus tree, with another approaching from the distance, all above rocks and branches of bamboo, the other panel enclosing a lotus pond scene with one duck swimming and the other flying above, all reserved against a powder-blue ground enriched with gilt decoration of a stylized floral band, ruyi-cloud collar and pendent jewels at the neck, and classic scroll on the spout and handle (the cover probably a replacement, gilding rubbed)
