Solidly potted and vigorously carved on the body and legs with deep depressions realistically simulating the gnarled trunk of a tree, molded with clusters of pine at the four corners which trail over the irregular branch-form handles issuing from the sides, covered inside and out with a rich, faintly-speckled purplish-blue glaze stopping short of the stout, cylindrical legs
