CHENGHUA FOUR-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE, KANGXI

With shallow, rounded sides, the interior decorated with a central green dragon leaping after a flaming pearl amidst green flames and yellow, aubergine and green clouds reserved on a pale green ground, the design repeated on the interior and exterior walls as a frieze of two aubergine dragons at the same pursuit on a darker green ground in the well, the nianhao reserved in white on a black and green circular dragon medallion within an underglaze blue, double line border
