A COPPER-RED-DECORATED DRAGON VASE
CHENGHUA SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE, KANGXI

Thickly potted, the globular lower body and the tall, slightly waisted neck well painted with seven four-clawed dragons with long scaly bodies leaping amidst flames, in underglaze red of crushed strawberry tone firing in spots to apple green and with underglaze blue eyes (some glaze fritting)
