5c Fractional Currency used as revenue, 1865, worn 5c note (Freidberg no. 1238) used with pair of 3c Rose (65) postage stamps on front of combined letter last will and testament from a soldier to his wife, his note states that he will be marching off to battle the next day, the lower portion of his letter serves as his last will and testament, presumably executed in the field, the soldier affixed what he had (the will is short paid) to try to make the document 'legal' under the existing regulations, one 3c stamp has faulty corner, otherwise fine, very unusual est.
