A parlour grand player piano which belonged to Babe Ruth. The piano was manufactured by Duo-art Weber and was purchased by Ruth in 1929. It has inlaid side panels and the cabinet is in excellent condition. Ruth maintained that the piano was one of his favorite possessions. It is consigned by his grandaughter and is offered with a letter of authenticity from her. It is offered with a photograph of Babe Ruth and his family singing at the piano. An important association item of the greatest player of all time. This year marks the centennial of Ruth's birth. The player piano mechanism needs new air hoses in order to function. Included are over one hundred player rolls used by Ruth with the piano.
