A number of autograph replicas of the present composition exist, including those in the Sarah Campbell Blaffer Foundation, Houston, Inv. no. 79.13, and the Hermitage, St. Petersburg. These works are generally thought to have been executed around 1576-77, a time of fervent activity in the Bassano workshop.
