The gold Rolleiflex 2.8F camera was sold in 1983 to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the Rolleiflex camera. 450 units were built to be sold worldwide.

Rolleiflex 2.8F Aurum camera no. 8301262 with gold-plated metal fittings, alligator skin covering, a Heidosmat f/2.8 80mm. viewing lens no. 949183 and a Schneider Xenotar f/2.8 80mm. taking lens no. 13991684 set into a Synchro-Compur shutter, instruction booklet and plated carrying strap, in maker's fitted mahogany and plush-lined box, in maker's box.
