A Turkish border tile of rectangular form the ground divided into two parts, the upper with a bold cintaman design in turquoise and red on a cobalt-blue ground, the lower with a design of flowering saz leaves and arabesques -- 11 x 7¼in., second half of 16th Century, probably Diyarbakir.
