Details
A Satsuma koro and cover decorated in various coloured enamels and gilt in the shape of a basket tied in a furoshiki, the basketwork pierced sides divided by bands with a hatched pattern and stylised petals, the cloth with lobe-shaped panels depicting bijin promenading and conversing (crack to handle) -- 4½in. high, Satsuma mon, signed Ryozan, late 19th Century.
