The serpentine back with central foliate cartouche and shell-carved ears above a pierced splat, the arms terminating in outscrolled eagles' heads, the drop-in seat upholstered in crimson velvet over a shell-carved seatrail, on hipped cabriole legs headed by shells and with paw feet joined by stretchers
