A Victorian four-piece compressed pear-shaped tea and coffee service on openwork scroll feet and with moulded rims and double scroll handles, each chased with rococo flowers, foliage and trellis-work and with two vacant rococo foliate cartouches, the teapot and coffee pot with leaf-capped and chased panelled rising curved spouts and domed hinged covers with finials formed as birds with outstretched wings, probably William Robert Smily, London 1857 - height of coffee pot 10in, 83oz.
