An Imari sixteen-sided bowl painted and gilt to the interior with a basket of chrysanthemums within a border of moulded scrolling peonies and prunus, the exterior with shaped panels of buildings in landscapes and the Three Friends (cracked and one small chip to the rim) -- 12in. wide, circa 1700.
