A collection of twenty-five cameo embossed and pierced paperlace valentines and greeting cards, the majority with chromolithographic centres, some floral, some figurative, majority with silvered or gilded details and printed verses, one mechanical card with pull tag causing a cherub bearing an envelope to rise from behind a garland containing a printed message, another with a ring superimposed on the front, various makers include Wood, c.1870's, largest 7 x 4½in.
