An Anglo Indian stained hardwood overmantel carved overall with pierced scrolling foliage and mythological figures with shelves on column uprights flanked by pierced miniature temples, late 19th Century -- 45½in. wide.
This lot was reputedly brought back from Calcutta in 1898 by the Marquis of Bute and subsequently given to one of his servants.
