Mildred Hilson was an avid needleworker and examples of her carpets and screens were scattered throughout her Waldorf Towers apartment. This carpet was worked in 1960-1961.

The cream cabbage rose floral garland surrounded lobed medallion centering a rose and grey rosette issuing cabbage rose sprays all on a charcoal grey field with polychrome cabbage rose sprays in each corner all within a cream and grey scrolling rinceaux border
