Garrard, London, 1856, underside also stamped R & S GARRARD PANTON ST LONDON, in the Georgian taste, deel oval on spreading pierced base, the solid ground engraved with crest, the raised, then everted sides, pierced with alternate panels of geometric motifs and quatrefoils, each divided by flute, with applied gadrooned ended foliate scroll rim, the partly pierced swing handle centering vacant cartouche--13¼in.
