An early 18th century brass lantern clock in typical case, surmounted by a bell with central finial, turned finials to the corners, with dolphin frets, the dial plate with engraved flowers and inscribed John Ebsworth in New Cheap Side Londini fecit with raised chapter-ring with Roman numerals and inner quarter-hour ring, central alarm disc with sunburst engraving, single steel hand, on turned ball feet, the later two-train movement with central pendulum and verge escapement striking on a bell (side doors lacking) -- 14½in. high
