A SILVER TWO HANDLED TEA URN, bearing marks for Butty & Dumee, London, 1771, later repousse and chased, partly stop fluted pear shaped on molded square pedestal base raised on four ball and talon feet, with pierced foliate apron between, the body and base repousse and chased with berried laurel paterae hung festoons, enclosed by bold floral sprays, centering front rocaille and scroll shaped oval cartouche enclosing engraved motto, coat of arms and crest, with part foliate spout and ivory handle, the two part foliate angular handles each with bifurcated upper join, the detachable decorated spool form cover topped by lit torch form finial--20½in. (52.cm.) high, gross weight 76oz.
