A cope shaped panel of pale blue silk, embroidered in coloured silks with a pattern of curling plants with large flowerheads, including roses, carnations and tulips, entwined with ribbons, also with four birds with sprays of flowers in their beaks, within a border of trailing flowers, trimmed with silver gilt lace--30in x 60in., probably French, mid 18th century
