A GEORGE III THREE PIECE SILVER COFFEE SERVICE AND A MATCHING PORTUGUESE TEAPOT AND WASTE BASIN, maker's mark of George Ashworth, Sheffield, 1801, the teapot and basin Oporto, late 19th century, comprising coffee pot, two handled sugar bowl, cream jug, oval teapot, and waste bowl, each partly fluted vase form, on molded oval pedestal base, engraved with monogram on finely reeded ground within wreath cartouche, the bowed shoulder engraved with running leaves, the pots with wood loop handle, wrigglework collar, part engraved scroll spout, the hinged partly domed and fluted cover topped by wood baluster finial--the coffee pot 10in. (25.4cm.) high, gross weight 74.5oz.
