A PAIR OF GEORGE II SILVER SNUFFERS ON STAND, maker's mark of James Gould, London, 1732, the stand 1731, the shaped oval box to the scissor form snuffer engraved with coat of arms within foliate mantling, with shaped end, the waisted shaped rounded rectangular stand on four hoof supports, engraved with same coat of arms, with flying scroll handle, with applied rim--the stand 6¾in. (17.1cm.) long, 10.5oz.
