Provenance
Burdwan Palace, India, this lot was purchased at the sale of the Palace contents, circa 1960, the pair of this table is a private collection in Rome, it is thought the initials may refer to an army regiment stationed in the aera who may have been commissioned by the Maharaja for the manufacture of the furniture for his palace.
