A pair of Japanese copper and bronze slender tapering oviform vases with slightly everted rims, each with a wide band around the body decorated in iroe hirazogan and takazogan with two crane standing by the side of a river catching fish, with further birds in flight or perched on tree stumps beside flowering lotus and prunus, the lower half decorated with scattered cloisonne maple leaves, and the shoulders with cloisonne cranes in flight -- 9¾in.high, signed Ikkodo Miyabe.
