A late Ming gilt-bronze figure of Buddha, seated in dhyanasana wearing flowing robes the edges incised with scrolling lotus and flowers, holding a bowl containing betel nuts in his left hand, the hair piled in tight knots and with pendulous earlobes, on double lotus petal throne (gilt rubbed, one dent to rear) -- 16¼in.high, 17th century.
