A Shibayama-style two-leaf table screen inlaid in mother-of-pearl, coral and hardstones and decorated with figures and children catching falling blossom from prunus trees on a coloured and fundame ground, above two shaped panels of flowers and furniture, the reverse decorated in togidashi and kirigane with a spray of flowering roses and grasses on a black lacquer ground, above a panel of water plants, within an ivory frame decorated with scrolling foliage and waves (minor pieces of inlay missing) -- 10½in.high, signed on rectangular reserve.
