The octagonal base on four paw feet flanked by flowerheads, with a band of acanthus and applied with matted anthemion and scrolls above, rising to a plain octagonal stem, the four removable leaf-clad scroll branches and openwork leaf central standard with circular openwork stylized leaf and arch rim and issuing from vase-form swirling acanthus surmounting a calyx of leaves, with one large faceted cut-glass bowl and four smaller, the base engraved with a coat-of-arms, crest and motto, marked on base, branches, rims and central standard and stamped LAW
