AN EDWARD VII SILVER FIVE-PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE WITH TRAY

In George II style; comprising: a hot water kettle on stand, a coffee pot, a teapot, a sugar bowl and a cream jug, each baluster, on spreading circular base with gadrooned rim, the bodies chased overall with rocaille, scrolls, foliage and beading, with fluted scroll spouts and foliate clad and wood scroll handles, the hinged dome covers with similar decoration, the tray oblong, the gadrooned rims with shells and foliage at intervals, with foliate-clad open scroll handles, the field engraved with scrolling foliage, bellflowers and strapwork, the center with vacant oval cartouche, kettle stand now without burner, marked on sides, under covers, on stand and on reverse of tray, each also stamped ALEXANDER CLARK MANUFG. CO. 188 OXFORD ST LONDON W
