A sampler by Hannah Hill, 1829, worked in coloured wools with a verse "If thou my Jesus", also with a red brick house flanked by fruit trees, and various spot motifs of birds, crowns, trees and hearts, within a formalised berry border--21in x 18in., mounted on a stretcher.
