The hexafoil base raised on four paw feet, the sides chased with acanthus and shells on a matted ground, fitted with six egg cups applied with bands of overlapping foliage under an everted foliate rim, with central acanthus and scroll handle, marked under base, on standard and cups--7¾in. (19.6cm.) high, together with six silver spoons with pierced stems, maker's mark of Mappin & Webb, 1986
