Breguet, regarding the Breguet watch given to him by the Duke of Marlborough complaining that '...it has taken to stopping' and that 'I feel therefore that it should have a thorough overhaul at your hands and I shall be most obliged if you will undertake this'; together with a 1p. t.l.s., on headed paper dated 28, Hyde Park Gate, London S.W.7., September 6, 1946 to 'My dear Messrs. Breguet', thanking them for their '...excellent work...I had hoped when I wrote to be able to send you a few of my books as a mark of appreciation of your kindness in the matter....Pray accept my thanks also for your courtesy in declining all payment'; and a secretarial letter on House of Commons headed paper.
