Bombé form, on rectangular base, the shoulders chased with scrolls, foliage, rocaille and fishscale, the slightly domed slide cover with stylized shell hinge finial, the sides later engraved with a coat-of-arms, crest and motto with scrolling foliate mantling, marked under base and cover
