A baize-lined oak canteen containing a Hanoverian pattern flatware service, the spoons with rat-tail bowls, comprising: four tablespoons, twelve soup spoons, twelve table forks, twelve dessert spoons, twelve dessert forks, eight teaspoons and a pair of sauce ladles, with a collection of table knives, dessert knives and carving implements with ivory handles, mainly Carrington & Co. - weight of silver 98oz.; and several oddments of flatware, some of them plated or white-metal, including: a Victorian butter spade with later mother-of-pearl handle, the blade engraved with a crest, a Patent tea infusing spoon, and a bright-cut preserve spoon.(a lot)
