A George III fluted oval bright-cut teapot with tapering angular spout, ivory scroll handle and domed hinged cover with later fluted oval ivory finial, bright-cut with two friezes of shells and scrolling foliage, one side engraved with a monogram, the other with a crest and motto, each within a shield-shaped cartouche, Henry Chawner, London 1794 - 5¾in., 16.25oz. gross.
